Rivercourt Apartments

During my one year residency, I had an excellent experience. The team was exceptionally helpful and created a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. The scenic views of the east river were definitely a highlight. The only downside was the occasional elevator delays. It would be convenient to have stair access to the 53rd street exit as an alternative.

I've lived here for 6 months and really enjoy this bulling and location. The building is on a dead end street which really cuts the street noise down. The staff are great, they know me by name and are proactive at providing packages whenever I enter the lobby. I've not had a problem with maintenance requests, the maintenance team have always kept me informed of progress. I feel safe and part of a community here.

This place is terrible. They have had graffiti on their wall on East 53rd Street for months and they can not remove it. Even their dumpsters have graffiti on them. It would take about 1 hour to paint over the graffiti on the wall and 1 hour to paint over the graffiti on the dumpsters but they don't do it. What an eyesore, it makes the whole street look bad. If that is how they keep the outside of the building I can't imagine what the inside of the building looks like.

Under absolutely NO CIRCUMSTANCES should anyone move into this building. Please head my warning. The apartments may seem nice and the agents friendly, but management is completely PREDATORY. Rose has increased the rent by the legal limit for every tenant in the building (8%-15%) and will not negotiate to anything reasonable (Ask literally any tenant in the building). They attempt to price you out of the building literally a year after you have moved in and people are leaving in mass because of the increases. They are keenly aware that the price of moving is expensive and they will do what they can to take as much money as legally possible from tenants. There are absolutely no amenities in this building and I love the doormen, but they are basically just for show. People are often not stop

I moved in in May 2024. and have nothing but good things to say. All of the door and maintenance staff are friendly and helpful. Coming through the front doors at the end of the day gives you a lovely 'I'm home' feeling. The common areas are all kept clean, service requests are dealt with quickly. I am very happy that we live here
