River Walk Apartments

I’m beyond frustrated with the lack of professionalism and communication from the new office staff at my apartment complex. They’re rarely in the office on time—if at all—and I’m not the only one noticing. Multiple neighbors have voiced the same complaints, and it’s becoming a serious issue throughout the community. Right now, my AC unit isn’t working, and my apartment is sitting at 86 degrees. To my knowledge, a malfunctioning AC unit—especially in this heat—is considered an emergency. Yet, I haven’t received a single call back. I can’t even walk into the office to speak with someone in person because no one is there, even an hour past opening. This level of customer service is completely unacceptable.

Shady even when we were looking at units. We were interested in a 2bed 1bath with the loft, remodeled or not. We were told they would have one ready for us by Dec 15, 2023 but not before 3 as that is when cleaning and repairs should be done. We were not allowed to walk the unit we would be renting until the day they gave us the keys, which was Dec 15 but they called me at work at 11am to say the unit was ready. Walked the unit and found dead roaches all over the kitchen, windows not closing as the frames were bent, many issues with the unit. Some have been fixed but most not. We have had had work orders in since mid-May that have since been deleted to ‘consolidate work orders by unit’ but nothing has been worked on. I wouldn’t waste your time here. I had people try to steal my stuff on my porch and nothing was done. Homeless people dig in the trash, squatters will break into your home or ones around you. The office people do nothing but tell you to call the cops which then they take hours to show up and do nothing. Our apartment flooded and it took forever to get people to come fix it. They then said they would fix the water damage but never did and now I may get charged for it. I’ve called about things needing to be fixed and they never did it. The first week we moved in we couldn’t drink the water. It smelled like rotten eggs and tasted horrible. It took a week and a half to get someone in there to fix it. The first picture is what it should look like. The rest is what my patio looks like cause the support beam just fell off. Not to mention the tome the stairs were so weak and rusted my sister fell through them. Staff is rude. Maintenance doesn’t maintain Edit: in case any one is wondering this still has not been fixed. And since the grounds keeps have busted my patio door (still not fixed after months), the heat doesn’t work, and the oven doesn’t work. Considering their prices are about average, I expected a lot less when I went to view an apartment. I was impressed! The staff was great, the grounds were clean, the floor plans were really nice, and the amenities top notch! My app is IN !!!
