We write this review as a sigh of relief now that our renovation project with River View is finally complete. The quality of the final work is excellent, and the construction crew, architect, and county inspector were all great to work with. The original crew we worked with, led by Edwin, were so hardworking, friendly, thorough, and fast. That's what really pushed us from 2 to 3 stars. However, the process getting here was frustrating and unnecessarily chaotic. The quality of River View's work is definitely worth a 5-star rating, but numerous issues marred our experience. While the finished construction was very satisfactory, their poor communication and unprofessional conduct make it difficult to recommend them in good faith. 1) Unauthorized Changes — Without our consent, the owner, Chris, reduced our new room's dimensions by a foot after the initial blueprints were rejected by the county, with no discount offered. He also ignored our requests to correct a window's placement on the blueprints, requiring our intervention on-site to avoid a costly mistake. 2) Scheduling Chaos — Chris rarely provided accurate worker schedules, forcing us to leave our home unsecured for two months.
