River View Apartments - York Property

I lived there for over two years. The worst management experience in Windsor for me. My car was broken into, which they took zero responsibility of. When asked about security cameras installation to prevent this from happening again (because I learned from my neighbours that this happens quite often), they said “we will evaluate the necessity” and took zero action. I saw the perpetrator come back the next night and try to break into other cars. But by the time police responded to my 911 call, the guy fled through the fence doors which were kept open by the management. When I told them about this and asked to install locks to the doors, it took 3 weeks for them to do it. DO NOT rent here!

Management isn't great. I lived there for 3 years and when I first moved in the door handle to the patio door was missing, they never replaced it. Had a leak coming from the room above my bathroom and once it stopped leaking the superintendent never bothered to have someone come look at it. Constant problem with ants coming in from outside, the occasional tweaker moving in and causing disruptions at night. Only benefit was cheap rent when I moved there but the rent price has went up $300+ in just 4 years. Not worth the new prices at all

When I first moved in the room was horrible. It smelled like cigarette smoke for at least 3 months, the room was filthy, balcony door had large gaps in it and in the winter time snow could even blow inside because it was so bad. When I moved out, they didn’t give me back the deposit money of $25 that I paid for the extra entry key. I emailed their site 2 times and no one has replied to me.
