Aug 23, 2025: I don’t know where to start. Whether it’s with the kids, noise or trash. I initially had a review up and took it down because the New Management seemed to be doing a little better and decided to renew my lease. BIG MISTAKE. This place is an expensive Ghetto. Paying $1600+ and the projects are better kept than back here. 1) The Breezeway is terrible. I guess because it’s in the back and nobody can see, it doesn’t matter. There’s always trash and food that’s. The cement is stained, nasty needs pressure washed. The people up stairs were told to put their bicycles by my door bc it’s a fire hazard to be by their door but what is it for me? The bikes are always in the way. 2) The parking lot is trashy, the people are nasty, it’s ok for the patio to have trash or whatever in them.

I am very happy with my decision to live at River Run. It’s changed so much since the days of Jamestown Village. My unit is updated, everything is perfect and the rent is reasonable for a one bedroom. The application process was so easy and affordable. The administration staff was extremely responsive and helpful. The neighbors have been great and I feel very safe. I am extremely happy to be here!

I would never recommend staying here. I had attempted to end my lease early in August of ‘25 for concerns of possible black mold. In which I was told I was unable to terminate. The office manager Samantha will email you over and over stating she’s attempted to reach you through multiple forms of communication. When you attempt to return calls or emails; she’s “out of the office.” Very unprofessional office staff. In my time of residence there, I know for sure there’s been a minimum of three property managers, and new office staff. And the lack of safety in the community is ridiculous, police are in the complex at least three to four times a week. Not to mention, my brand new car being beat up from residents living in the apartments. Also funny, my previous review with pictures was removed.

First off the trash all the trash on the roads is actually terrible. Then we have the noise the noise is actually terrible and I’ve asked the front office multiple times and they STILL havent done anything mind you I asked almost TWO MONTHS AGO. And then the office ALWAYS gives the wrong keys and now me and my family have to wait for our new son’s bed. Then the repair people we have MOLD on our bathroom ceiling they always bring the dehumidifier and it never works but they haven’t done anything else to fix the issue and it’s getting hard to breath but just a tiny bit but still SUPER lazy. They haven’t even painted the walls white yet so it looks unprofessional. Absolutely terrible. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE AND FIND A NEW PLACE.

I recently moved into River Run and I was the first under the New management team. Oliver was excellent navigating with me as I signed the lease under the previous property team. He was professional and assisted me with all the needs I had. The team has worked with me for any concerns I had with speed and resolution. The improvements they continue to make under the New team will bring value to this community.
