River Road Apartments

This is a great location and a v good property. Easy access to shops and highways. The new property management is fantastic. The new onsite manager is v responsive and action oriented and has really cleaned up some nuisance tenants recently. The new PM are v quick to answer your queries and have taken some clean up projects on priority. The location on the river adds to the overall beauty of the property.

*Will NOT receive security deposit from these people.* I lived here for 1 year and thank goodness that was all. The landlord, Jude Marra, will give every excuse in the book and won't hesitate to lie. In the middle of August, my A/C went out and was not fixed for multiple weeks. Judy repeatedly told me the repair guy was coming by but never did. Eventually, I had to contact a maintenance person myself after staying at a friends for weeks since it was mid-80's in my appt. Worst of all, I never received my security deposit after moving out despite being a very nice tenant. Jude refuses to answer/respond to my countless calls and messages. My daughter rented an apartment from here for two years. Chose it for the view and location, which is wonderful. But that is it. From day one had issues. Day one: lock on back door not work and there was no cable connection to be found anywhere (although advertised there was)-neither was fixed-had to fix door herself. Had bad ant and cockroach infestations several times that had to take care of herself. Had leak in living room that leaked on her new couch for months before it was fixed. Had leak in another window that leaked water all over room-they did fix fairly fast but humidity is so high in the apartment you have to have a dehumidifier or mold will start to grow. This place is horrible! I lived here last year and it was the worst place I had ever lived. The apartments super tiny, there were police there all of the time, homeless people sleeping on your porches and the "cameras" don't work (even though there is a sign that says you're being surveillanced). My car got hit during the night and they took off without leaving a note. I asked the property manager if she could view the camera and she said, "they were just for show". She is also very crooked! When I moved out, I gave her my forwarding address for her to send me my security deposit back (I left with no damages to the property and even cleaned). I moved to this beautiful place in 2021. The view from the river front building is amazing. The location and proximity to highways and other businesses are perfect. San Marco is a wonderful town. I just recommend paying your rent and minding your business.
