River Mews Apartments and Townhomes

I called a few times on Wednesday inquiring about a two-bedroom apartment and a townhome because I couldn’t quite make up my mind. Each time I called, I spoke with someone different, and every person was incredibly thorough and patient with all of my questions. I even apologized for asking so many since I’ve never lived in the area before and it will be the two of us moving. After reviewing the website and going over the different options, I’ve decided that a townhome will be the best fit for us. I just wanted to take a moment to thank the staff for such a pleasant and helpful experience on the phone. It truly made the decision process much easier!

We lived in a townhouse at River Mews for five and a half years. Initially, the price reflected the quality, but that has definitely changed over the years. Since April 2020, our rent went up an average of nearly 7% every year. That’s way too much given the issues we’ve had. Roaches abound and nothing is done to eradicate them. A pest control company will send out a tech to spray a little inside the house, but whatever they spray isn’t strong enough and is not done thoroughly. Never once did we see them treat the outside of the building. So, be prepared to see them with relative frequency. The air conditioner at our place was horrible. Okay stay while i was there, i do advice of the mice that are outside i had poop droppings on balcony plenty of times, trash receptor is always filled with trash outside especially holiday times. They do bump the rent excessively. I went from 1625 to 1895 then they tried to get me for 2190 on third lease signing. When it was time to move out they tried to charge me for a recall on there Samsung oven appliance i had to inform them about the recall sent proof over and they took it off which I’m pretty sure they’ve got a lot of people with that 700 dollar charge before me (glad i knew better) . I did have ac problems and mold issues due to my ac not working during summer time. I bought something with Amazon with overnight delivery, and my package was checked off as delivered/handed off to receptionist but when I went to the amazon hub building, both doors were locked with no information of when the doors would get unlocked. I've tried looking on River Mews website for any FAQs on when the doors would be open but could not find anything. Does anybody know how to receive their packages?

🚨DO NOT MOVE HERE🚨 My family lived here for almost three years. We signed 2 1.5 year leases. Everything was great until Nov ‘24. TLDR: This place does not care about you. They will let you live in mold, they will let your house flood and not do anything about it, and they won’t fix your AC in the middle of Summer, even if you have a new born baby. Their parent company also doesn’t care about you and won’t listen to any concerns you have. Oh, and they’ll charge you $6K When you only owe them about $340. Story time. Okay. Picture this.
