My time at The Retreat at Henderson Lakes has been such a positive experience. This place truly became an unexpected blessing just when I needed it most, after the horrors of my previous apartment. But a big part of that is thanks to Ms. Eleanor. From the very first time I came in to do my paperwork( a frazzled bundle of nervous lol) to the day I moved out, it has been nothing but a blessing. Whenever something came up in my apartment, Ms. Eleanor handled it quickly and made sure I never felt stressed about the process. Life has been a little chaotic for me, but she always found a way to work around my schedule. I recently moved from this apartment complex. And let me say, at first there wasn’t any issues. Towards the end of my lease, we spent two days in our hot home without air conditioning waiting on it to be fixed. We also had to call the fire department because of the carbon monoxide detectors going off. Come to find out, they were completely out of date and shouldn’t have been in service. The worse part of my experience with the Retreat was the Manager, Elanor Pace. From the departing inspection up to our conversation last week, she has been nothing short of condescending and rude to say the least. I was docked for things that were already noted when I first moved in from the prior tenants. She didn’t even try to hear me out she just took pictures and wrote and kept going. Last week, I recei

If ZERO stars were an option, that would have been my choice. The apartment itself if nice, spacious, but the management company, and managers are awful. The parking lot is a disaster. There is never any parking for yourself in front of your unit. They drive like it’s the Indy 500, and we have children in here. Nothing is ever done. For the price you pay you would think they would have numbered spots, better gym, speed bumps, and keep a clean garbage area. Or at least enforce the rules. Just find you somewhere else. Not worth it. IF YOU DO RENT HERE READ YOU LEASE ENTIRELY. There are loop holes for slumlords, and forget your security deposit they will charge you for normal wear on the apartment. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!

Terrible living and move-out experience. Eleanor, the property manager, is extremely condescending and constantly gives out incorrect information. When confronted with proof, she gaslights tenants instead of taking responsibility. The complex is just as bad: insect infestations, terrible parking, and constant manager turnover so always double-check your paperwork because things “mysteriously” change. Move-out was a nightmare. I had to schedule my own move out inspection because no instructions were ever provided nor was I ever contacted. I left my unit spotless with no damage, yet they still invented random fees and stole my deposit. Overall, I would not recommend anyone to live here! Eleanor Pace is the problem. She is extremely rude and never takes accountability for anything. During my move out inspection, she accused me of dumping furniture items at the trash area. These items had been there for days, and when I told her they were not mine, she responded by saying because maintenance said they saw me over there , and I could be fined. After asking her to go back over to the area to specify which items she was accusing me of dumping, she refused. Eleanor had no proof of me dumping furniture items because they were not mine to begin with. All of my furniture was taken with me. Also, when my dryer was broken for a month after I submitted a work order, I went into the office to see if I could get an update. She immedia
