Residences at Sonoma Woods

I used to live here many years ago when it was called Landmark and it was a decent place to stay. I recently moved back into what they now call Residences of Sonoma Woods and it went down hill just a little bit. The outside common areas are very dirty with a lot of random trash everywhere and the trash dumpster which is very close to the complex is overflowing with trash and smells bad. Now let’s move to inside the apartment…I can see that management did try to upgrade the units but the only thing that was upgraded was the kitchen area with a few new lights and countertops. There were no light switch covers in some of the rooms. The protective base cover on the tub in the hallway bathroom is halfway off and doesn’t seal properly. Worst apartment complex ever!!!!!!! My daughter, her husband, and their 2 kids live their and pay an Enormous amount for the crap they live in and have to deal with. Nothing but problems since day 1 and I pray they get the hell out of there once their lease is up. Bad communication, someone different in office every time you go in, worse maintenance, unsafe atmosphere outside at night, obviously do not keep trash bill paid because dumpsters always overflowing. Wasn't quite as bad when it used to be Landmark but the management now totally sucks!!!!!! 😡😡😡

Tamika is a valuable asset to this community. She did a fantastic job of walking me through the application process while making sure I understood everything along the way. She answered all my questions clearly and quickly, I hope to see her here for many years to come

When I moved to Sonoma Woods in 2021. I was told there were amenities like a swimming pool and a gym neither one of them were opened my entire stay at Sonoma Woods . My air conditioner continued to leak which cause mildew in my apartment. The air conditioner broke several times. I was giving some kind of contraption that blowed out semi cool air. It didn’t cool the entire apartment not even in the kitchen where is it was located. My apartment was chosen for an inspection because the property was being bought out by another company. When the lady from the bank asked me how I liked living there. I told her the truth I told her I hated living there and if I was the client I wouldn’t buy it. Anthony with maintenance is great! We have had several issues and not the best experience with some of the maintenance workers but whenever he is involved with the work order, things get fixed in a timely manner and done correctly. He is an asset to the complex.
