Residence on Lamar

This was the straw that broke the camel's back I have been living here since 2022. For the past 3 years I have been dealing with my hot water not working. I have submitted dozens of maintenance orders and also calling the office to let the office staff know about the issue. The maintenance will come to my apartment maybe 2 or 3 days later run my water for 20 minutes and say "it's fixed it's fixed" or they will say oh we will be back and not come back this was for every single work order I submitted. All I wanted was hot water to take a nice warm shower. On this day Dec 6th, 2025, they had a contractor come out to try to fix the pipes. If I could give 0 stars I would. They towed my car in a parking space that was a “no parking zone”. I had pictures showing several cars parked there because it truly disguises itself as a parking zone especially at night time. I went to the office to see if they would help me with the charges but they said they couldn’t do anything. They agreed that the paint was worn off and they would repaint but have not yet and it’s been weeks. They truly don’t want to help when it comes to these big issues.

The batteries in the smoke detector in the gym are still out, it’s still beeping..for 3 weeks straight. The gym is never cleaned. The lock doesn’t work and I’m constantly coming into the gym with kids who are definitely under 16 running a muck and unsupervised. One of the reasons I chose this complex when I was in the market was the amenities. The gym is constantly dirty, one pool wasn’t open the entire summer, the other pool is constantly dirty, and the laundry rooms are constantly dirty. The ac doesn’t work in the laundry rooms and machines are often broken. The dumpsters always have trash and stacks of old furniture, I never see any maintenance staff cleaning the grounds so trash flies around in the parking lots and all over the grass. This is the state my home has been in for over a month now. There had been a massive leak that had been draining into my kitchen and seeping under the floorboards for about three weeks before they sent someone out to deal with it. With no notice or eta of arrival, finally a plumber came out randomly one day and cut out a ton of holes in a ton of walls and then finally found the busted pipe. Since the pipe has been repaired over a week ago, this has been the state of my home. I have called the front office multiple times asking for updates on repairs and they have told me a contractor will come out to repair the walls and remediate the mold three times now. All three times the contractor has not shown up and I am not notified of the schedule change. My stove and fridge are in my living room

I have lived here going in 2 yrs and I can say from the beginning it was the worst decision I made. My apartment was approved 2 months In advance, but my unit wasn’t even ready when I got my keys. My 1 st walk through the old stained carpet was still in the unit for the last resident. The apartment wasn’t even make ready. I had paid for movers already stuff was packed. I had to wait an extra day plus my move In date. I can go on and on about this and the management is terrible.
