Residence at Heritage Park

This has been the most awful move in experience ever. They are price gouging, do not supply blinds and the one blind they had is broken. They keep trying to make me resign my lease saying they forgot a charge of something. The stove and oven doesn’t work, there has been water damage and soft spots under the carpet. I just moved in and am not even unpacking. Moving out and already gave my 60 day notice. With the prices they are charging you would think these should be luxury apartments they don’t even have a washer and dryer unit and you have to pay extra for just about everything. Better off finding a house to rent here or think about an RV at least stuff would work.

Would give 0 stars if we could but I’m writing this for both me and my mom. My mom and I were initially sold on this apartment based on the model unit we were shown—it looked clean and well-kept. Unfortunately, our actual experience upon moving in was the complete opposite. The apartment had a terrible odor when we arrived, especially from the carpet, which clearly had not been cleaned despite management claiming otherwise. The carpet wasn’t damp, and when we vacuumed it ourselves, we picked up an alarming amount of dirt and debris. It was obvious no proper cleaning had been done. Other issues we discovered right away: - The microwave was dirty, and a broken piece had been glued back together. The microwave light doesn’t even work. - One of the bathrooms is missing a toilet paper holder

I've been here a little over a year now and I'm not impressed at all with this place. You live here but constantly there's no where to park except the street over. Their auto draft hasn't worked several times and they dont even call you they just leave a get out notice on the door even if it's their broken system. I had hot water issues for months they finally fixed it on like the 11th call(keep in mind it was broke every time I came home I travel a lot). They close maintenance request on things they never actually fixed as well. Also the ceilings are so thin you can hear every foot step, when they run water, when they flush the toilet, or if they're practicing making a baby.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. I was a resident for 3 years from 2020 to 2023. The units are quaint and beautiful with a large window in the main room and at least one balcony or patio. The neighborhood is quiet and feels safe. The pool is beautiful and well maintained 99% of the time. The management office and maintenance are very fast to respond to issues, including after hours for emergencies. I was also pleasantly surprised by the move out process and how easy they made it. I actually got a good chunk of my deposit back, which I wasn’t expecting. They won’t gouge you over normal wear and tear, and are very reasonable with damage refurbishment.
