Reside on Wellington

I have been at Reside on Wellington since 2021, and will stay as long as I can! The rooftop vibes and location are the best in Lake View and you can not beat the onsite team!!

Roaches, Plumbing Issues, Bad Management Written on 4/10: My experience has been with the 520 (tower) side. While the building is in a good location with a friendly resident community, I've been disappointed by the condition of the building and mgmt. Upon move-in, the unit was left with windows open, lights on, and AC blasting, leaving it in a terrible state. I immediately saw cockroaches, which I initially attributed to the open windows, but eventually requested pest control. I experienced plumbing problems, with sewage backing up through my toilet and tub for days over about a month. My unit smelled terrible, and with no public restroom in the building, I had no access to a functioning bathroom. Poor communication, very unprofessional just to see the property. I wouldn't risk actually living under that management. My appointment was confirmed multiple times by their AI agent "Morgan." The company needs to better learn how to use AI before they implement. I understand that units go fast, but it was never communicated that my appointment had been cancelled. I lost another opportunity because of the time spent getting to their property. No offer to help, no real apology.

I absolutely loved this place when touring! Great location and great interiors. However, after reading reviews and from my personal experience with the building I’m rather concerned. The idea of living in a roach invested complex is horrendous. On my tour I quite literally saw cockroaches. GROSS! I’ll continue the apartment hunt elsewhere! Editing editions: moving to one star…I cannot believe managements response.

I've been renting at Reside for a few years. My building engineer is exceptional - Hugo is prompt, friendly, and professional while always doing a great job. I've had pleasant interactions with office staff whenever I've needed to reach out. This has been nice because I sought a more accessible property management.
