Reside on Pine Grove

Apartment is nice, but bad neighbors. For months I’ve been consistently woken up at 5:30 am by a loud neighbor. On top of that, other residents are smoking in the building. It smells strongly in the hallway and even makes its way into my unit. The office has made efforts the address it, but not been able to resolve.

I moved here about a year ago. I've had great interactions with the maintenance and leasing staff and got a good space for a very solid price at a good location. Maintenance are very quick to respond and leasing was very flexible with negotiating the price. The reason why I knocked off two stars is due to the noise insulation in this building being mediocre and multiple packages being stolen here from the mail room. For my problem with noise I would be careful what unit you choose because due to this being an older building if you get loud neighbors your sanity will be chipped away by neighbors throwing loud parties, blaring music and TV, yelling and screaming, sometimes all of this outside quiet hours and dealing with this throughout the day. I recently moved in and have had a great experience. Lorranda was patient in answering my questions about the lease. When I moved in I had some issues with keys. Eric from the office is amazing and he and Ermal (with maintenance) were responsive and worked to resolve the issues quickly. I greatly appreciate that I feel comfortable contacting both maintenance and the office with problems. I do want to note that in terms of the building itself, the walls and ceilings are thin. Not exceedingly so, but I can hear my neighbors sometimes. This is just something that comes with living in an older building in Chicago. Overall had a great experience with the management.

It had been a great leasing experience with Lorronda frisch , she is very committed , dedicated and true to her words. I had best leasing specialist experience with Lorronda as she is very understanding , transparent and open. This is my first time experience with reside management and with Lorronda bearing the torch I believe it would be a smooth renting experience in future as well. Thank you Lorronda for all your help and support through the leasing process. Only thing if reside management can have a proper package room instead of packages left in front door so that we will get the notification on time and not lose any important package .
