Reside 707

Leaving this review after months of frustrating experiences with the management team as well as the maintenance staff. Noticed 3 months ago that my AC unit is regularly spraying black dirt and debris across my unit onto my couch, bed sheets, and rug. Have filed at least 6 maintenance requests at this point and each time I am told that they have "deep cleaned" the AC only to discover the very next day that it is still spraying dirt out of it. After emailing the management team the only response I was given was that they had no plans to replace the AC unit (despite me only ever asking that it be fixed or cleaned properly) and that I should just continue to make weekly maintenance requests. Would not have a problem with doing so if the maintenance staff did not regularly track in and spread

Lived here for two years; it's a great value in terms of rent, space, amenities, and location. You're right by the lake. Lots of bus options to get downtown and uptown, and the Red Line is a short walk away. The Lakeview neighborhood also has so many things around in close walking distance; stores, restaurants, bars, gyms, hospitals and dentists etc. Wrigley Stadium is also a 15 min walk. The building managers are very helpful and maintenance is always resolved quickly. I highly recommend renting here!

I just moved into Reside 707 a month ago and I'm very happy with this place and feel it was a great move for me!!! Kristy and Valerie are absolutely amazing and so friendly and they have both been a lot of help to any questions or concerns that I had. Maintenance is very prompt and they have always addressed and fixed the small issues that I had which were very minimal. In my opinion it is an extremely quiet building and there are times that I feel that I am the only one living there because I don't really see too many people but I know that they have almost full occupancy. I don't see any major downsides to Reside 707 nor do I have any complaints about this building so far. I do wish that they had some kind of means that you could reach out to your neighbors either through a resident port

Love my apartment too bad management sucks. If there is a leasing problem, don’t expect to get any answers. Rent has to be paid through RentCafe which I’ve had multiple issues with. If anything goes wrong, it’s your fault and simply they don’t have any clue what’s going on. Only suggest renting here if you’re willing to shell out a premium for a broken pool and some workout equipment from the early 2000s. Also, the laundry sucks. Can’t open the doors to the machines since the rooms are so narrow. There’s also a bad rat problem in the front. And don’t live on the first floor. Had to notify management (that did absolutely nothing) about a man flashing my window. Live somewhere else. Plain and simple. Going on two years living here and it's been a great experience so far. Lorranda did a great job working with me to find a unit that was exactly what I was looking for. The building is always kept clean and I've had no issues with pests. When I do need maintenance they are quick to respond and are all very friendly. The units themselves seem to be pretty sound proof, I have yet to hear a neighbor through the walls although I can hear my upstairs neighbor walking around from time to time. I plan on staying here a while and I would recommend others to consider this building when apartment hunting!
