Reserve at Lakeland Apartments

We moved there last July and ended up breaking our lease for 2 reasons we bought a home and the bug problem is ridiculous from roaches,termites and blind mosquitoes and much more. The day we arrived the apartment was not renovated at all but we did have dead bugs and a live lizard in our apartment. The manager could care less. They told us they were repairing things around the facility 9 months later nothing was fixed and only getting worse by the day. The property is horribly maintained Jaylen is completely rude. The maintenance guy Randy quite and left right away because of how they are. Getting into an apartment is easy getting out they try and charge you ridiculous fees I wish I could post before I moved in and after I moved out videos that I have. I have been living here for a little over a year and it has become so ghetto. Loud reving cars, blasting music at all times of the day or night, neighbors so inconsiderate. The place is falling apart and still they want to charge you so much rent (no lease renewal negotiation). The people who do trash valet do not pick up sometimes and when they do, your trash can statys on the floor. Dirty hallways and dog poop all over. The blind mosquitoes are like a horror movie outside your door. Pier they repaired no one cleans. The pictures online are not what you will see when you come to view. The office never answers to emails. I can't wait till my lease time comes around. ****Don't move here***

If I could give 0 stars I totally would!!! Y'all this place is an absolute disgrace!! The office people are disgusting and so disrespectful!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! They will find every little thing to charge you with!! They will target you if you even complain about the littlest things!!! They will charge you for an ESA even though state law states: Fair Housing Act (FHA) and Florida Statute 760.27 - Landlords cannot charge extra fees for ESAs, but owners are liable for any damage the animal causes!!! ESAs are considered assistance animals under the FHA, not pets, and are therefore exempt from pet fees, deposits, or breed/size restrictions, but yet they will charge you regardless!!! Reserve at Lakeland was the first apartment we rented. It doesn’t take much knowledge to immediately catch how greedy this complex is. The ladies up front are lovely, but the management is terrible. I knew from the first few months within living there that management will do whatever they can to take your money. Our deposit was $600 and we only received $170 back due to damages that were there PRIOR to us living there. We had already listed the damages that were there at arrival and we STILL got charged for them at move out. On top of that, they always have mildew and mold buildup in the units and never do anything about it. The entire year we lived there, the amenities hardly ever worked or were running. Spend the extra $200 to stay at a better place. I promise it’s worth the extra money

Apartment was dirty upon move in and had problems with mildew and black mold. They charge a bunch of fees upon move out for cleaning and damages while damages were there prior to us living there. Move out cleaning fees were ironically listed as a generic "full clean" without any clarification. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE OVER 50% OF YOUR DEPOSIT NO MATTER WHAT. Front desk is unresponsive. Witnessed them ignoring phone calls and will wait until closing time to contact to avoid communication. We gave them the benefit of the doubt with all of the bad reviews because it seemed nice when visiting. Do not be fooled.
