I’m not sure how our inspection experience could have been any better. Shane explained things thoroughly and in a manner that was easy to understand. Our appointment time was quick and at our convenience. He returned everything promptly and the report was simple to follow. I would highly recommend his services.

If you want an inspector that does the bear minimum then hire Shane. The roof was still good according to him come to fine out it had active leaks through most of the house. Ceiling supports where rotten and needed to be replaced and the ceiling in the living room and walls full of mold. Said the old part of the house had a sloap but was normal for an old lake cottage. The main support in the floorwas rotten and needed to be replaced. I highly recommend you find a different inspector if you want it done right!

This was one of the most careless home inspections I have ever encountered. The inspector did the absolute bare minimum. He spent most of the time taking pictures with an iPad and called it an “inspection”. Major issues were completely overlooked, including obvious roof damage, visible mold, rotten support beams, and serious problems with both the septic system and leech field. None of this was noted in the report. This negligence ended up costing us tens of thousands of dollars. If you’re looking for a thorough inspection before making a major investment, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. Careless inspections like this costs people their livelihoods.

I have worked with Shane many times throughout my real estate career. He is always able to get the inspection scheduled quickly and the report is back within a day or two. Very thorough and professional.
