Rental Homes has been amazing for me. They really care about their renters being happy and meet all their needs of repairs and questions In a timely manner. I highly recommend Rental Homes to anyone when searching for an apartment, townhome or Home to rent.. The staff are very friendly and kind and care about their rentals and tenants and do an amazing job on upkeep on their properties.

If I could give this company less than one star, I would. I toured a house and was super excited about this home. When we toured, my partner asked lots of questions and was met with annoyance. Once I applied, I was told I would hear back within 2-3 days. It’s been 3 weeks with numerous follow up calls and no answer. They answered me at first but now have completely ghosted me. All I wanted was an answer, even if it was a no and why it was a no. The office has now started ghosting me and won’t return my calls or answer them. This is extremely disappointing and a disheartening experience to say the least. I was very excited about this house and it is very upsetting I couldn’t even get an answer from the office. Truly had the best renting experience with Rental Home KC. All the leasing staff were amazing and had great communication. The touring process was great. We were quite indecisive and wanted to view almost 5 properties and Jim took his time to show us all of them and we did not feel rushed or like a bother. The leasing process went very smoothly and we were approved within a couple days. We applied on 10/11 and were approved and had our lease written up by the 16th, & moved in by the 27th. As someone who works in the leasing industry, they set the standard!! Most of the contractors hired for our work orders were amazing, we only had one bad experience with someone who did not go within the requested time frame but I don’t blame Rental Home KC at all! In 2018 I leased a home from this company and the experience was great. I was so impressed with them, and at that time I worked at a different 4.5 star property management company myself. I was with my company for 10 years and I have been a licensed (sales producing) Realtor since 2016. I had some clients in November of 2023 hit a snag with my previous employer/property manager. Not everyone is meant to be together, so I referred them to Betty Simmons without question. They are extremely happy with her property management company still to this day. Why 1 star review? Well I've now emailed Betty 4 times about a referral fee and I've gotten no response. I am very disappointed in this, as I could have referred these clients in 5 other directions. I have never had a better property management company! This is my 6th rental in a 10 year span (90% of that was having to move around every year in college with roommate changes). Betty’s team is on top of it! I had never had a more thorough move in appt, complete with a little care package of household necessities that are often forgotten about in the move in process. Every maintenance request is handled within 24-48 hours. They help with more than any other rental I’ve ever had who often pawns off responsibilities on tenants. From small requests to more emergent requests, they don’t leave you hanging. I’ve had rental places before who would ignore every request we put in, even serious ones.
