My experience has been a complete nightmare and we haven’t been living here 2 full months. There is only one person who has been a help during this mess. It took them almost 4 weeks to repair my kitchen that had mold in it only to have a contractor come out a patch of the molded wood with drywall. After complaining over and over and over and over they sent out a new contractor to renovate for the second time. That’s not the half of my issues. My son has now tested positive for mold and he is autistic. Do you think they have shown concerns about his health and safety??? Not one word of compassion. I’m so angry and feel so hopeless. Just was supposed to have a tour of the property. Was “emailing” and “texting” someone bot Ethan. Made an appointment for today. Just for no one to be there. Then to be met with a lot of excuses. It was very disheartening I’ve told them my only free day is Saturday. As I work five days a week. I’m sure what the disconnect was. But I would never move out here. They can’t even show me an apartment in a timely fashion. I could never be a resident smh

Renew Norfolk was better before it was bought out!! I advise maintenance about our bathtub knob being loose and they came but never fix the issue. About a week ago, we advised the maintenance about a leak from our bathtub every time we showered the carpet would get soaked. They brought out fans and stated a plumber would be out to fix the issue, A thumber never came out! Today, there was and still is a leak from the vent in the bathroom. We advised them of the issue and nobody came out. Even put in an emergency work order. Every time the neighbors upstairs flush their toilets or showers the leak is worse. When we first moved 2 years ago, the management staff was great and the experience was too. As soon as they sold the apartment to the new company it has been a horrible experience. There was a homeless guy in the laundry room. When I called the main office I had to call the police to get him removed because they don’t handle that on their end. One of the contractors was parked in my spot and I had to call the towing company to get the car removed because they don’t handle that on their in either. Our lease states that we’re supposed to have a security personnel roam the apartment at night. There’s no security team or cameras on site. They said they were “working on it”. This is not my first review. I lived at this property from Dec 2022 until Dec 2023. There were some really nice people who worked in the office at the Norfolk location. Maintenance was nice. And, I had a couple of really nice neighbors. But, it was a challenge living there. Although I’ve been gone since Dec, I wanted to post this post regarding the water bill, but I had to wait until I got my first full two month water/sewer bill at my house. Renew uses the RUB system. This is a shared system whereas the water and sewer bill is divided among the tenants based on the number of people in your apt. We had 3 adults, a teenager and a kid in our apartment. Every “month” our bill was either a little over or close to $300 even if you subtract the $25 trash charge and $5 pest control char
