Joey was the listing agent when we purchased a home, and we appreciated his hard work and honesty so much we chose him as the selling agent when it was time to sell the house. Joey and his realty team were very responsive and listed our Mechanicsville house quickly. The day after it was listed on MLS, the buyer made an offer. Joey did not delay to arrange a contract we could all agree upon and he minimized the hassle of negotiation. The office staff did a great job communicating with me to get all the information needed for closing and Joey kept us posted about the process.

December 2017: This is the second time that I have used Joey and his team to list my home and, once again, I was amazed! The house sold very quickly and at top dollar! I highly recommend their services! June 2017: Joey and his team are amazing! My house was listed on a Monday at 3pm and I had a contract the next day at 10am!!! Their professionalism, responsiveness, and knowledge far exceeded my expectations. In fact, I plan on listing another home with Joey in a couple of months. I highly recommend Joey! You won't be disappointed!

My daughter who has served the Army 19years put in an offer to a home he has listed Friday 28 August 2015. Joey didnt reply to the offer nor to her realtor whom called and emailed Joey all weekend long to include everyone at his worthless call center and other agents in his office whom couldnt give a straight answer on why no one had heard from Joey all they could say was I will relay the message on Monday. So what he was really doing is waiting for more people to see the house so that they could wage a bidding war. This guy is garbage i wouldnt use him to sale a leaf.

Might be the most unethical and crooked broker in the state of VA. Will do anything to line his pockets. My experience is just like the rest of these reviews. Like another person mentioned, this man is not afraid to break the law. In fact, he dares you to do something about it. He feels he's untouchable. If you're a crooked seller looking to hide known defects, I'd highly recommend Joey Schlager. Have no idea how or why this man has been allowed to get away with this for so long...

My boyfriend has been leaving messages and sending texts to Joey for weeks and gets no response..I even called his office and left a message with a lady there and still..2 days later nothing.. all he had to say was he didn't want to sell the house..we've gone with another realtor who has jumped right in and is getting everything done..communication is first with her. I'm really disappointed that I had recommended Joey, it won't happen again..
