AVOID – MISLEADING COMMISSION STRUCTURE We were misled by Abby Nelson at RE/MAX 200 Realty regarding her commission as the listing broker. She increased her commission to 3.5% while lowering the selling agent's commission to 2.5%, despite assuring us that the structure would be 3% on both sides. This reduced selling agent commission may have negatively impacted our chances of selling the home. I've included a screenshot of the original contract, which clearly shows 2.5% - 3.0% for the selling agent. I was told verbally that the 2.5% was if the house was sold internally (within the RE/MAX 200 group), and the 0.5% would be remitted to us as the home seller. This company is an absolute joke!!! To the blonde who thinks it’s funny to go on social media and laugh and poke fun about how living in Florida during a hurricane is something to laugh at, you should probably think about the consumers you’re content is reaching. As someone lives in Central Florida and has traveled outside the comfort zone, there is 40 people dead as of October 28th and hundreds if not thousands injured. People are displaced, they lost loved ones and pets, and you think the best thing to do on your real estate platform is to make snide social media posts. Remember people buying a home from someone like this just makes them think their actions have no consequences. You’re not the only with a platform! I don't know about the real estate side of this company but if it is anything like the property management side, I'd run from this office. The manager handling the property management end is rude, unprofessional, and has no respect for the tenants. All they care about is raising rents and trying to evict their tenants. Not to mention other renters I've spoken to have complained of similar experiences. I look forward to moving out soon and buying a place so I no longer have to deal with these incompetent employees. And I won't be using this office when I do buy.

For 25 years, RE/MAX 200 has provided top-notch service for my rental properties. Mo and the team stay on top of all issues large or small. Highly recommended.
