I almost lost a great investment property because of RFG. I had to pay extra fees, like a SOW charge by their ‘guy’ that they insist you sign a credit card authorization form to use your card. I asked to only soft pull credit when getting a quote and they said ok we will not hard pull, then they hard pulled my credit immediately within 2 minutes of submitting an application. And then said ‘Oh sorry our mistake’ Their communication is horrendous, they keep you in the dark, do not tell you any status or updates. They don’t understand appraisals, I feel they are not knowledgeable, and whole staff is inexperienced and clueless!
