Regal Pointe

Yesterday (Monday), the delivery conditions were unacceptable. I was not able to deliver packages to multiple homes where the sidewalks and front entrances were completely covered in snow and not cleared. I had to walk through deep, unstable snow just to reach the front doors, and I did fall on ice. This is a serious risk of slipping, falling, and getting injured. No delivery carrier should be put in a situation where safe access to the delivery point is impossible. These conditions directly compromised my safety. There needs to be a stronger policy regarding deliveries to properties that are not properly maintained during winter weather. I don't know why Regal Pointe gets such bad reviews, but in my opinion, these reviews are very biased. I've lived here for many years, and my neighbors have lived here even longer. It's a great place for raising a family. I'd like to respond to some of the reviews, just in case people read them and develop a biased opinion about this apartment complex. Regarding the water bill each month. My water bill is usually around $10-20 a month. I'm neither overly frugal nor wasteful, so I think this is probably the average range. Editing this review to one star. As many reviewers stated before me, the management here is absolutely terrible. They truly don’t care about your comfort or well being unless it involves you owing them money. I’ve butted heads with the dozens of people that have worked in the office here (they apparently treat their staff as well as their residents here and it shows because there’s not one person that’s stayed longer than a few months in that front office) over various issues and they’ve either done nothing about it or come back with some passive aggressive responses. My family has lived here for the past year. It’s been a very nice place for our family, neighbors have all been considerate, it’s quiet, it’s a nice place and a great location. We have a 2 year old and have no concerns for her safety or ours living in this community. Many families within this community. Great park for kids and adults in walking distance, Sunrise Park. The apartments are very roomy, a lot of space, as well as plenty of closet space, as well as a garage with your unit. Parking has never been an issue. The new property manager, Heidi, has been such a good and needed change from the previous manager. She has been here for a few months now, if it were not for her, we would have moved out. I had the unfortunate experience of living here. I was fooled by the management staff to believe this was a great place to live, but Regal Pointe is run by incompetent management who run the place like slum lords. They will nickel and dime you every chance they get and don't expect to see your security deposit again and expect to owe even more when you move out. They do not fix the old broken appliances in any form of a timely manner and I would not recommend them to anyone. I sincerely hope this review serves as a warning and saves good people from the misfortune of renting from this place.
