RDG Management

This company is a total scam. RDG Management stole my deposit and had the nerve to act like it is a joke. The level of dishonesty and irresponsibility is beyond belief. They take your money and disappear when it’s time to do the right thing. No accountability, no communication, no respect. they ignore calls, dodge emails, and act like you’re bothering them when all you want is what’s rightfully yours. The buildings they manage are filthy, full of cockroaches.

*STAY AWAY* I am counting down the days until my lease is up and I can leave this place. The management company, RDG, is the reason I'm not renewing. Cars and bikes are getting stolen and vandalized, but getting any CCTV footage from the complex cameras to help solve the issue is a nightmare as they never send it like they say they will, even with a police report. We never had this problem with the previous owners and management company. Maintenance requests are never handled in a timely manner and the management team never follows up when they say they will. In order to get anything resolved, I have to keep pestering them for weeks, and even then, they are incredibly rude. Do not stay at this property!! We have been here for a year and here is what happened 1. Never used the pool because it has never been open. 2. Had a flood on 3 separate occasions from the apartment above. Ruined clothing and could not make an insurance claim because it didnt meet the deductible. 3. Went without heat and ac from September until January. 4. Took our smoke detectors out of the unit and never brought them back. 5. Told we would be getting a month free rent because of going so long without heat and never got it. They show you a nice model but trust me as soon as you move in, I'll give you a week and everything that can go wrong will go wrong. There is fighting, drug dealing. I highly advise against renting from these properties. They do not respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner, and it takes them a month or more to address any issues. Additionally, there have been incidents of vehicle theft, break-ins, and property vandalism, with no proper security measures in place to prevent these occurrences. Despite these incidents, the property management does not seem to care or address the issue, nor provide CCTV footage to help identify the perpetrators. Moreover, the grass has not been mowed in the past two months. Unfortunately, the people who originally built and owned the property have sold it to RDG Management, and in my opinion, this has been the worst thing to happen for the tenants. RDG Management recently underwent staffing changes which I believe will fully alleviate many, if not all, of the concerns tenants have expressed in the past. Prior to the arrival of the new team members, the response times for maintenance requests were dismal at best, and the front end staff could only be described as unprofessional. The new team has been diligently pursuing every avenue to ensure that the situation improves at the property, not only through reinforcement of compliance of the lease agreements, but through direct contact with tenants as well. They seem genuinely keen to address the needs and concerns of the residents, and this can only bode well for the future.
