Rancho Bonita Apartments

We lived here for over a year and have dealt with multiple issues. First of all, parking is horrendous. Granted you do get one reserved parking per unit but if you live with your partner who also has a car they most likely won’t find parking if they don’t get home before 4pm. And if they do they have to walk far from where you stay. On top of that, this isn’t the safest place for street parking, one of our cars got broken into in attempts to steal the vehicle as there was a broken key stuck in the ignition. So definitely purchase a wheel lock! Next, the remodeling/construction team are full are ignorant men who steal/block your parking spot. Every other day for the past year we have dealt with issues when we come home and when we leave because they are ALWAYS in the way and parked for hour

I won’t blame the parking on them, or the dirty laundry room, or lack of management support, but the noise their workers make is insane. Never have I ever lived in an apartment where the workers are noisier than the people who live here. Constant hedge trimming, constant leaf blower activity. I witness a worker trim the exact same hedge with a motorized saw for 10 min at 9 in the morning

My review here is about the security of the place, this complex is NOT a gated community, strange people would use this complex as a shortcut from Honey Drive to Woodman. I guess these strange people are also the reasons why Amazon deliveries or mail packages are disappearing. Cars are also broken into almost every week in the area. Sometimes there are some non-resident teenage kids beside the pool smoking weed (you can smell it from a distance) or probably doing drugs. There are no security cameras around the area unlike other apartment complex. Security cameras will at least help prevent theft of mail packages or monitor these strange people passing by, but it's a cheap complex, so no security at all.

decent apartments but the public laundry room is very dirty, black film is building up on the washers. Doesn’t seem to be maintained too often .

These apartments are well kept and very clean. However it is difficult to find parking.
