Customer Reviews
After living at Radius Apartments for three years, I reached a point where staying was no longer a given. I had outgrown my unit and was actively exploring other options, open to leaving if the right opportunity came along. However, when that opportunity surfaced at a sister Essex community, the way the Radius team handled the situation played a major role in my decision to remain an Essex resident. From the beginning, Angie Schmidt made the process feel approachable rather than bureaucratic. I had a lot of questions about transferring between Essex properties, and she took the time to answer every one patiently and thoroughly, without ever making me feel like I was asking too much. That alone set a tone I genuinely appreciated. As my situation became more nuanced, Lucinda Pham stepped i
Living in this building has been an absolute nightmare. Packages get stolen regularly, and to make it worse, some are literally torn open in the lobby. Management’s response? Basically nothing. Even though the building has cameras and is supposedly “locked,” they are completely useless and no real action is ever taken to improve security. The front doors are faulty and don’t even open properly half the time, which completely defeats the purpose of having a secured building. Anyone can wander in, and it shows. Management is fully aware of these issues and still refuses to tighten security or fix the obvious problems. The amenities look nice in photos, but that’s where the appeal ends. In reality, they’re underwhelming, poorly maintained, and absolutely not worth the high rent. You’re payi
I currently reside at Radius apartments and love it here. It’s a nice, peaceful and safe community. The maintenance staff are always on site and ready to help. Both Kyle and Jose have assisted us on a few things in our apartment and have always been prompt, friendly and thorough. Jose has had to come to us on a couple of weekends and he’s just so lovely. Persists until the job is done and always says hi, asking how things are when we see him around the complex. It’s that which makes this a great place to live. It’s also in a nice location, with so many amenities in walking distance.
I lived here for one year, and unfortunately the experience was consistently disappointing. Safety & Security Concerns: Within my first month, a car window in the garage was smashed. There are “security patrol” signs posted throughout the property, but this is misleading. There is no such patrol that actually exists. Police are called to the building frequently for disturbances including yelling and domestic violence. Packages are constantly left abandoned in the delivery room for weeks without intervention. Noise Issues: Being next to Kaiser and the fire department means nonstop sirens from ambulances and fire trucks. You also hear loud traffic from Veterans Blvd day and night. Keeping windows open isn’t realistic if you want peace. Property Upkeep & Community: There’s no on-site manageme
Lived here for 1 year and it never felt like home. Not once did I feel at home here. It feels like I’m living in a hotel. There is no sense of community, they don’t host community events and there’s not one employee that works on site to greet you or help you with anything when needed. You communicate through the app and hardly ever interact with a real human. I will say whenever you need maintenance done in your unit, they’re on top of it and it gets done within 24hours. Other than that, it was my least favorite place I’ve ever lived and I couldn’t wait for our lease to end. They also tried increasing our rent $400 which was the icing on the cake for us and definitely validated our feeling of wanting to move out. We spent multiple days in the unit once we moved out all of our belongings f
