We had a horrible experience with Pulte Mortgage . Unfortunately, they had very bad communication which intern resulted in a lot of stress, frustration, and delays. They canceled our closing at the last minute over some documents they had never requested. In addition to some documents they had already received that they were requesting again. Once we were clear to close, we showed up to our closing at the requested time. They did not have our paperwork in order. We were told to come back two hours later. When we arrived back, they still did not have our paperwork and said that they had to close for the day. RUN DON’T WALK! Pulte Mortgage is the worst company we have ever had the displeasure of working with. All the other reviews are spot on. The people who work there are incompetent. We were denied a VA loan only to find out my partner's 7 years of honorable service was in fact, eligible for the VA loan. We had to submit bank statements, W2s and 1099s, every single month until closing. Furthermore, our initial deposit was paid from a savings account that, 2 months before closing, they decided they could not accept even though they asked for a statement from that account each month. They held 150K for nearly a year before deciding they could not use the money. They forced us to close with them by saying the money would be given back as a check at closing. I tried to cash the check four times

Absolutely terrible mortgage company! They’ve put me through more stress than I would have ever anticipated. Charging me way too much over escrow for property taxes that I don’t even have to pay. Their only answer to lack of funds is to ask for gifts from relatives. An absolute joke of a mortgage company. Stay clear away!

I cannot say enough terrible words about working with Pulte Mortgage. I have never encountered such complete and utter incompetence. They sabotaged our closing after we had already boarded a plane heading to the closing in another state. Literally 12 hours before closing they started asking for a multitude of financial documents which we had already provided and were told we were 100% set for closing. Do NOT use this mortgage company if you want to keep any of your sanity.

This is the worse home buying experience we have ever gone through building and purchasing a home. We had to send over the same documents at least 4 times. My credit was pulled 5 times during a 6 month process, on the day of closing the appraisal was completed and our loan was denied. I would never use Pulte Mortgage for anything. If you see their name on anything steer clear and turn the other direction. Their communication is horrible, it's like they have a office of interns working for them. My husband could not even use his VA to get the loan processed through them, they came up with a story that their computer system was not giving them an approval.
