Donna and the rest of the Proper Real Estate team were the first 'real' real-estate agents I've found in all of NYC! I spent about a month touring and trying to find the perfect apartment in Greenpoint / Williamsburg, but with minimal success. On a whim, I saw Proper Real Estate when walking down Nassau and reached out to see if they had anything available. Donna was very responsive and showed me two amazing apartments, both at fair prices. One of them happened to be right where I was looking and in a better location (and size) than an apartment I had applied for days earlier. I have lived in Greenpoint for 11 years and can attest to the fact that Donna always has the very best properties at great values, especially considering how insane rent prices have become in the neighborhood! I relied on her to find my last two apartments and both have been amazing- classic Greenpoint railroad apartments with lots of character, natural light, very well maintained and with incredibly kind and helpful landlords. The last time I came in to see her, needing to find a new living situation rather quickly, she sat down with me as I explained my situation and I could feel that she truly cared. I never thought I would be able to live on my own in this city, but thanks to Donna, I have an amazing apartment to myself in the neighborhood I love. I highly recommend her services!

This is such a wonderful, family-owned business in Greenpoint! I’ve had nothing but extremely pleasant and helpful experiences with all of the staff.
