I use to live there for a year let me say the lady in the office is very rude she’s never in the office and when you email for a request she never responds apartments are full of roaches and rats when I first moved in the floor templets were burn up and pulled off a hole on the wall behind the stove the size of a football all type of rats that’s giant would be behind the wall everything soo cheap breaks down fast. Let me get into how many time my car been hit or damaged in those apartments I would notify her there’s nothing she could do. Then there was times people who don’t resign in apartments would cause problems she never resolved nothing this apartment are trash and no up to good. I’ve lived at Prince Hall Gardens Apartments for nine years, and the experience has deteriorated significantly in recent times. Here’s why you should avoid this place: 1. Poor Management: The current management is disrespectful and unresponsive. They show discriminatory behavior and often blame tenants for issues. 2. Unjustified Rent Increases: Rent has been raised multiple times without any improvements, seemingly just to bring in more money for the Monroe Group. 3. Neglect of Maintenance: Maintenance issues are rampant. The air conditioning frequently breaks, and tenants are forced to pay for repairs. The apartments are dirty, with walls in terrible condition. 4. Rodent Infestation: The apartments have a serious rat problem. Management blames tenants instead of addressing the issue. 5.

THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE DO NOT RENT HEREEEEE!!!!! During my stay it was okay and things started slowing emerging . The management team is terrible we went without heat and air conditioning for the past year we had a toilet flooding and they did nothing about it had to take matters in our own hands and call the firefighters because it eventually flooded the person house downstairs. And the worse part about it is was rat infested and ate our furniture pooped everywhere eat out foods and clothes we reported it many times and still nothing was done . We eventually moved and wanted to warn everyone it’s not worth your money you would be better off in the streets the manger is lazy and rude and is never in her office. Don’t waste your time.

Would rate these a zero if I could. Lived here 8 years and manager wants to evict me because I couldn't get my paperwork turned in on time because she makes up her own hours. She leaves at various times and always leaves early and I constanstly work. They are bed bug infested and have bad roaches and rats. She only wants to rent to refugees so the government will pay. Do NOT rent here. Not only that, they don't have dishwashers or washer&dryer connectors. Very old and outdated. Worse than the projects.

I lived in these apartments for 5 years and it was the worst experience ever. First of all the manger has no respect for her residents because every time I tried to talk to her she would kick me out and not listen. I am a single mother with three kids who makes $7 an hour. She tells you to bring all your paychecks to make your rent lower but it doesn't get lower she adds extra money and tells you to bring it in cash instead of money orders. She receives extra money from the side and divides it with someone. She threatened to kicked me out so many times because I didn't have enough money to pay the rent and I showed her all my paychecks. Please save yourself some time and live somewhere else.
