Portland Manor Apartments

This review is 5 star specifically because of the leasing manager Dallas Barthelmann. When I started this moving process back in November of 2025 to my signing date January 2026. This experience with Dallas has been nothing short of amazing. She not only showed her phenomenal professionalism and experience she was kind patient and encouraging. Her communication is top tier and her work ethic is unparalleled. Although I’m aware that no process when moving is perfect Dalllas made sure I was well informed from start to finish . She is a true professional and a rare gem and this company and community is lucky to have her.

Currently looking for another place to live. Their is a mice problem here, instead of getting someone professional to see to the matter, your met with waiting for maintenance to come which takes a long time, just to tell you not to much they can do about it. I find it crazy that I have to live with rodents. Document EVERYTHING. I have a small child not even two years old and its sad that I have to go through all of this in trying to make my child's environment habitable.

Stay away!! 1. These apartments have the worst lease terms. Breaking the lease would mean paying the entirety of the left over rent. 2. The apartments do not have any blinds on windows, have to self-install. 3. Management that tries to throw the blame back at us instead of fixing the damn problem. 4. Have been having housefly problems ever since "SUMMER" started and the management is blaming me for the problem. I moved-in at the end of winter and obviously no-one would see a fly in this season. 5. See attached images (One from lease term and others of the flies).

At first the manager was really helpful. But then it turned terrible. A lot of mice at times, especially when it's warmer. A tun of back and forth with misinformation. If you put in a work order online, sometimes even if things are not fixed properly or at all someone will put it's completed. Most of the time they don't give you a heads up b4 they come to fix stuff. Some mantience men act like your a problem because you need stuff fixed(huge turn around). It's dirty over here more recently(they recently changed that). The lady was not in the office most of the time when I went during office hours. They raise the rent every year and give you excuses on why things are not done. The buzzers do not work, it took me 10 months b4 someone even came out to start to fix it and its still not done.

I wish there was a 0-star! Always marking work orders complete without even setting foot in the perimeter. Terrible management
