Pooks Hill Tower and Court

Pooks Hill Tower and Court is a fantastic place to live.... if you enjoy the dulcet tones of the building-wide fire alarm going off multiple times per week (Sometimes TWICE IN A SINGLE DAY) loud enough to cause hearing damage. It's a serious safety hazard because if there ever is a real fire, there's absolutely no way to know because the sheer volume of false alarms is, quite frankly, absurd. Until this issue is resolved, not even the affordable price and great location are worth it, especially if you have pets sensitive to loud noises.

Do not consider moving here under any circumstances. We moved out in February of this year, and five months later we have still not received our $300 security deposit. The front office confirmed via email that we should receive the entire amount, but as of March they have "lost" the check and cannot find it. It's not July and we have exchanged emails and voicemails with them for MONTHS, but our communications go unanswered. I have never encountered such a careless and unprofessional property manager in all my years.

Pros: - somewhat affordable for the area - Maintenance team is good (generally responds quickly and does a good job) Cons: management is frequently not in the office at scheduled times and does not respond to emails. We have emailed them (and met with them in person) for over 6 months about a neighbor frequently making loud knocking and screaming during the day and night. This has woken us up on many nights. The neighbor is still here and continues to make these loud noises. Management has continued to ignore our emails and has not remediated the issue after meeting with them in person many times. Overall, until you need help from management. It’s not the worst place to live. But having active management that is accountable to be in the office when stated and who is willing to help the

I have been living in Bethesda area for quite a bit already, but the management at Pooks Hill goes always above my expectations. The staff is friendly and very helpful, whenever I need something to be fixed in my unit is quick and clean. The maintenance man is always very professional and seems that he knows what he is doing. I have been treated like a family since day one when I moved here. I am happy with the location and the comfort they offer. I have a laundry in my unit, everything is clean and organized- What else would I need :)!

Throughout my life I have lived in many countries hence apartment communities and this is defiantly one of my favorite. I love this community because it's a very peaceful neighborhood and wonderful place to live specially for children. I must say I'm very impressed with Pooks Hill Tower and Court. All together and on and off I've been living here for about 4 1/2 years and the leasing office and maintenance staff are indeed attentive, very professional, pleasant and helpful. Maintenance is on top of everything and responds to work orders promptly. I am very pleased and satisfied with residing at Pooks Hill Tower and Court and will always recommend it to others.
