Polaris At East Point

I’ve lived here for a while now and I’ve honestly seen a real improvement in the community. The crime issues that were a concern before have noticeably gone down, and I appreciate the efforts made to keep the property safer and more peaceful. The manager is very involved and puts a lot of heart into the community — there are several resident events throughout the year that make it feel more like a neighborhood than just an apartment complex. On top of that, the rent is affordable for the area, which has been a huge help. It’s not perfect, but overall I’m really happy here and grateful for the positive changes and sense of community.

I see the changes coming!! This property has had its challenges but there is a new team here that is making changes for the good. The old owners didn't fix anything but the new team, they are doing their best to change and help the residents. The new manager and the new corporate lady are great. I will be renewing my lease and staying to watch the new things coming our way.

In September 2025, my move-in to Polaris was delayed by two weeks because the apartment wasn’t ready. The vinyl flooring needed to be replaced, and the tub, which was supposedly resurfaced, was not properly done. The paint crew also only did a quick touch-up on the walls rather than a full paint job, leaving visible marks and oil stains. The apartment was not properly cleaned before my move-in, despite being assured that it was. Once I did move in, I faced additional challenges. I had to break my lease early and was transferred to a back unit due to safety concerns. Management initially did not cover the transfer fees, and I had to pay extra costs, including prorated rent, $400 for movers, and over $200 for hotel accommodation during a holiday weekend prior to Thanksgiving. Ms. Deborah, the Property Manager at Polaris, is truly outstanding. She leads with professionalism, clarity, and consistency, and it shows in the way the property is managed. She is knowledgeable, approachable, and always willing to assist while maintaining high standards. Her communication is clear, and she creates a positive, efficient environment for both residents and staff. Polaris is fortunate to have her leadership, and it reflects greatly on the community as a whole.

If I could give this complex a negative rating, I would!!!! Just visiting others out here, and hearing tenants stories it's truly atrocious hearing how they are livingand treated!! They don't like to fix anything (the laundry room on the otherside of the complex is nasty and machines broken! Plus, some of the teens are in there smoking weed -seen it myself) until you get code enforcement involved to force them to fix issues. Plus, they Overcharge and do not follow their own lease agreements. I informed tenants to contact the news, John Osoffs office, mayors office, local commissioners, and definitely code enforcement. If you are paying your rent on time, why should you expect less?
