roach infested. First day i received my keys I did a walk through again and roaches were out (they make an appearance at night, so your walk through in the evening time is pointless). THE VERY NEXT DAY I terminated the lease, not even 24hrs of signing the lease they said it’ll take 40 business days to receive my refund minus the “one day of occupancy” even though the lease states “the landlord must refund all deposits and rent paid within 15 business days of being notified or of the tenant vacating the unit” I have been well over patient & still have not received a refund within the 40+ business days they told me, I am getting the run around, no answer from the property manager & will be taking this to small court claims because this has effected me in many ways.

One was to get a package. The package was unfortunately stolen and then I came back to my apartment a week later to show my kids where we would be living and both times, there was a trash bag in the hall filled with trash, but when I came back today, the rancid smell filled the entire hallway. Something leaked out of this trash bag my neighbor left in the hallway. That trash bag has been there for at least two weeks. It made me sick to my stomach. Pointe at River City, I want to give a huge thank-you to Miss Z, the Maintenance Manager for promptly addressing the issues I had in my apartment. From day one of moving in, I had ongoing concerns that I repeatedly called, emailed, and even stopped by the rental office about, but nothing was getting resolved — until I reached out directly to the maintenance department. Miss Z immediately took action and made sure everything that needed attention was handled. She was professional, polite, courteous, kind, friendly, and very helpful throughout the entire process. Was roach infested for months up until i hired my own peat control. Then was told to stop paying for that service. Also the maintenance man Patrick is a creep. He had been hitting on my wife and popped up at our home at 10 pm drunk claiming to be here to change a lightbulb. He is still employed as a maintenance man.

I have to give a big shout-out to the maintenance department! While I was enjoying my breakfast by the window, I spotted one of the maintenance workers in a white pickup truck. He got out to tidy up the furniture and debris that had gathered next to the trash dumpster. It was nice to see him taking the time to ensure everything was cleaned up and put away properly.
