PMI River Region

This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had with any type of property management in my life. I signed a lease in may, five days later I was almost killed in the house by an abusive partner. I submitted all reports and also a protection order. I asked for assistance with accessing the property to retrieve items I had to wait almost a week to get a key to the house I paid rent at because the office staff did not want to give it to me, after getting a key I was told it was the back door key because they didn’t have any keys to the front entrance. After submitting the protection from abuse order I was told that it would be submitted to the manager so I could be removed. it has been a month and I have had to call several times randomly show up and also email repeatedly to get an answer.

these ppl are a bunch of scammers and highly unprofessional. i ignored the reviews when i rented from them because i really liked the house and the house was nice; but they did not take care of the owners house far as in making sure it received repairs. do yourself a favor and RUN!!! you will never get your deposit back they are going to pocket it and you won’t even get a print out stating what happened with the deposit. I wish i would’ve listened to the reviews the first time. and if your a home owner, don’t let these ppl rent out your home. they will pocket the money and call their brother or cousin to fix it. Im surprised these people still in business.

This is an HONEST REVIEW, do with this information as you will‼️ In 2020 I moved into my apartment (2642 E 3rd Street). My rent was $675 for my 2bed 1bath. I was immediately informed that my dishwasher and my Laundry room did not have running ground Electricity. So I would not be able to use appliances. Before PMI RIVER REGION took over these apartments were ran by Camelot Properties of Montgomery. The first year I never had any issues with the apartment or the company whom ran them. Later on in the summer when PMI took over, I had a leakage problem that I CONSTANTLY REPORTED FROM AUGUST 2021-SEPTEMBER of 2022. Maintenance came once looked at the issue and never fixed it. I was pleased with the service provided by PMI River Region while leasing my home. The staff was always friendly and ready to assist however they could. I recommend future tenants to consider allowing PMI to handle their renting needs.

I rented from PMI River Region for four years. While I have a lot of great memories from the little historic duplex I rented on North Lewis Street in the Capitol Heights neighborhood of Montgomery, I also have a great deal of frustration and disappointment toward PMI River Region for not keeping good faith as landlords. For one example among many: one afternoon in 2020, my kitchen cabinets suddenly fell clean off the wall because (unbeknownst to me) they hadn’t been installed properly. Every single dish I owned was broken, including some really special ones that had been gifted to me by family members. PMI River Region repeatedly promised to refund me for getting new dishes.
