Very rude and unprofessional. I was broken into multiple times because they never changed the locks. I had a pipe leak so I was charged $800 by Richmond Water, they gave no compensation at all. They sold the property to Henry Briggs without advanced notice, who have also done nothing to compensate me over a year later. They hired shady maintenance people who would snoop around apartment. Noisy neighbors, water damage with mold. No care for the tenants. Do not recommend.

I lived at their Dooley property for 3 years. Nice place, pest free, allows dogs (unlike so many places in Richmond). Got my full security deposit back despite wear and tear, just had to clean the place thoroughly. They were always attentive and really fast with maintenance. The main guy, Dave, is very reasonable, and he hires good people under him.

I was stood up by Wynn, who had "forgotten" our appointment, despite the fact that I called to confirm earlier that day. I've heard of property managers in Richmond doing this...now I know to avoid Plus Properties. If they can't treat their prospective tenants with respect, how will they treat them once they're on the lease?

After reading previous reviews I'm surprised to hear such negative comments. Richmond is full of old apartment buildings with what we call "character. My apartment is one with character. I knew what I was walking into from the moment I said yes after viewing it. I knew it wasn't brand new and that it may need some TLC along the way. For almost 4 years now, I have found that Plus Properties are more than willing to accept responsibility and get help out when it has been needed. I've been able to contact them directly and speak to them about situations and they have been more than happy to help assist any way they can. The ladies in the rental office are great and David Lavine has been easy to communicate with and reliable.

Unresponsive to the point of negligent. I moved into a building at Stafford and Parkwood about 8 months ago, and my experience has been one nightmare after another. The entire building has a persistant roach problem, and Plus has refused to make the repairs recommended by the exterminator to curb the problem. I have to have the exterminator out every month, and I'm worried about what all the chemicals are doing to me and my dog. The exterminator has not been able to reduce the amount of roaches I see on a daily basis. It's gross, but I woke up to a roach crawling across my face a few weeks ago. The roof leaks every time it rains. It leaks because they ran the pipes for the HVAC system directly through the ceiling without installing hoods. The rain drops onto the unfinished ply wood right i
