Pinetree Apartments

I lived in Pinetree from 2010 to 2017, when it was sold to some private equity firm. The couple that owned it before was awesome. They hardly ever raised our rent and usually gave ample warning and explained why it was being raised in a letter. They also raised it in little amounts like $40 dollars and only every few years. They never raised it "because market rates went up" but if things got more expensive. Our rent started at $680 for a 2-bedroom and it ended at $840 over 7 years. They were kind. They gave us gifts on Christmas and the staff was friendly and helpful. Then it gets sold and our rent is jacked up to over 1400 dollars. No, thank you. Corporate equity firms are ruining real estate. Homes are for people, not corporations.

Lived here from 2021 to now 2024 and I cannot explain how much I hated this place. The previous landlord Ginger was always spotty and hard to get a hold of due to poor excuses she would explain, I’d put in tickets for certain things to be fixed and they would never be fixed even when adding more tickets and calling maintenance. Towards the end of my stay here my roommate got hostile and I tried working with the new owners the people were very rude and acting like teenagers with their responses sounding more like high school fighting than professional. Honestly wouldn’t recommend living here. The only upside to this place was that my neighbors were amazingly sweet.

Very affordable and enough space for two people to live in with a convenient location. However, the walls are extremely thin, you can literally hear people's footsteps above you! If you have kids or know you're going to be loud, do not move here or you will get numerous complaints from the neighbors. The management is mediocre; I've put in maintenance requests in the past and it took them about 8 months to finally get to it! Granted, there is new management and they have been doing a better job at being on top of the parking overfill, pool cleaning, etc. Great place for college students or older individuals, but not suitable for a family. Keep in mind, their no pet policy blows, you could easily have a cat or small animal in these apartments.

So far the best community I've lived in within the GDA. Staff is excellent on a professional and personal level. Residents are friendly. It would be nice to have W/D hookups in the unit but that's a minor detail .

I have lived here for a few months so far and I love it. The apartment complex is kept well and is very open. It is in a great location. The landlord is very on top of announcements and communication.
