Pine Manor Apartments

My sister and I were looking to find an apartment that was tenant friendly to senior citizens and met with Bahirah Wilkens who was extremely helping with my Mom renting at Pine Manor II. The apartment was exactly the amount of space my Mom required. The office staff and maintenance handled the very few requests my Mom had promptly. My Mom liked being contacted prior to maintenance coming to her apartment and the office staff complied with Mom's wishes. The apartment was homey and easy to maintain. My sister and I spent time with my Mom often at her apartment. She enjoyed playing Pinochle with us there and also with walking over and sitting on the benches in Pine Manor I. Our family had an excellent experience with Pine Manor and the Galman group.

I have lived at Pine Manor since 2021. Overall I have had a good experience, especially with the staff. Maintenance is always kind and helpful. The office staff has always been very accommodating in my experience. My only pits are, because it’s an older building it is a bit noisy. A lot of the residents slam doors and aren’t very mindful of how the sound travels from their apartment and the hallways. The hallways themselves could be kept up better. There are a lot of stains on the walls from people moving in and out or just not being courteous that they live in an apartment building. It would be nice if there were some updates to the buildings and some of the units. It seems that the only updates made are to the units that are now going for $1500 or more. This place was infested with mice. The exterminator did not do their job properly. I had to use my own traps and kill them. Hopefully I don’t see any more mice. They should also have security cameras all around the building

Car got broken into twice in less than 6 months while the car parked in the apartment parking spot. Management refuses to install cameras. At least 2 other incidents that I became aware of, and one of them happened last night. It doesn't feel safe to park your car here anymore. Otherwise, the location is good. Close to fox chase station.

Great place to live. Been here almost 9 years. Apartment living, just like a owned house has its pros and cons. But overall the problems do get solved. The maintenance teams over the years are great, been just a few changes, but they do get to you. May not be to the expediency you like, again, it's apartment living so there are many needs and tenants. But the problems are fixed and completed to 100%. No band aid fixes. Real deal repair work. The main office is helpful too. There is a shopping center like 15 minutes away and public transportation just down the road, if need be. Would recommend 🙂
