Pine Management DOES NOT CARE ABOUT TENANTS. We complain about major issues, and they don't even bother to reply. And when you get a hold of someone, they are extremely rude. It's almost like a strategic requirement to work at Pine to be mean and inconsiderate. They raise rent to above market averages in sub-par, no-elevator buildings and never offer ANYTHING in return. For tenants who have lived in apartments for multiple decades which are literally falling apart... according to Pine it's "too messy" to replace falling apart windows, replace shabby appliances from the 1990s (literally), upgrade decaying countertops, or literally anything else at all. Not even a paint job in over 15 years. This type of maintenance should be standard, not require asking and begging. I believe they prefer te
I rented a unit managed by Pine Management in NYC for three years, and overall, it was a great experience. The team was always responsive and professional, especially when it came to handling maintenance requests and billing questions. Any issues that arose were addressed quickly and efficiently, making my time there smooth and hassle-free. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere in the building. While they did keep rent at market levels each year and took a bit more than expected from my security deposit to patch some drywall holes, these were minor issues in an otherwise positive experience. If you're looking for reliable property management in NYC, Pine Management is a solid choice.
Living at a Pine Management property was one of the most frustrating housing experiences my friend and I have encountered. The apartments are severely roach-infested, and instead of hiring qualified contractors to resolve maintenance issues, management consistently sends unskilled workers who make conditions worse. What’s most disappointing is their tenant management. My friend, a hardworking individual who pays rent and holds a steady job, moved out on July 1, 2025, after months of trying to address these concerns. Pine Management never addressed an CityFHEPS/ Section 8 tenants whos on welfare frequently disrupt the peace — engaging in substance use and even threatening behavior towards other residents banging on their doors the cops comes out frequently for that tenant and she continue
Mike is hands down one of the best — if not the best — supers I’ve interacted with. From the moment I moved into my new unit in the Upper West Side (80th Street), he made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Moving to a new place can be stressful. He patched up the small holes in the brick wall with care, promptly resolved a pest issue, and ensured the apartment was spotless before I settled in. What truly sets Mike apart is his dedication. He went above and beyond, even coming by over the weekend and on Mother’s Day to make sure everything was in perfect shape. That kind of commitment is rare and incredibly appreciated. He’s always responsive, professional, and genuinely cares about the residents in the building. He always checks-in and takes care of any issue in the unit. Thank y
Just worked with Dillon for the potential leasing of apartment 2A at 78 manhattan ave. Dillon and the Pine team were extremely professional, particularly because we were applying from a different city altogether. They made the application and approval process completely straightforward and worked in an impressively timely manner! We felt we were in great hands, and highly recommend this building and management company, at least from the applicant perspective. My girlfriend and I ended up going with a different apartment, but not through any fault of Dillon or Pine's, just the fast-paced nature of the NYC apartment hunt. Applying for apartments in NYC, especially as an out-of-towner can feel like a massive uphill battle, where many management companies meet you with apathy (if not downr
