Dan performed a home inspection before I purchased a house and told me everything looked great and that all I needed to do was to replace the water heater. Unfortunately, he completely failed to mention that the insulation in my attic was unacceptably low, which severely affects the cooling of my home. I now have to pay $2000 to get my house reinsulated, which I could have worked into the purchase price had I known beforehand. I don’t understand how he missed this as there are rulers already built into the attic. It leads me to believe that he didn’t even inspect the attic and makes me wonder what else he missed.
