Ah yes, the everyday joy of living in Peter Cooper Village. What *could* be better? There I was, happily humming in the shower, shampoo in my hair, living my best life—until the water decided to change the vibe by adding its own “mystery aroma.” Nothing like rinsing your eyes with eau de questionable plumbing to really start the day refreshed. And don’t get me started on brushing my teeth. For a fleeting moment, I thought my toothpaste had unlocked some new ultra‑whitening technology. Turns out the murky brown‑yellow swirl in the sink wasn’t sparkle—just the pipes keeping things real. Truly, a luxury experience. Highly recommend if you enjoy surprise plot twists in your basic hygiene routine. And for the joy to last weeks as no one will answer your phone calls or respond to messages. And

Proud resident of PCV for over 5 years. I constantly refer it as a little oasis in our little concrete jungle. The greenery, the grounds - everything so well taken care of. I've loved every min living in PCV. Truly one of the best places to live in Manhattan!

Maintenance requests prolonged. Less employees. Ongoing problems. For example I have plaster and paint chips falling in my bedroom. 2 months ago I waited more than a week and only when I kept calling do I get service.

Wait! Haven't I chimed in on this one before? How to *rate* the place that one calls HOME for the last 8 years!!?? I mean, we're rating our kids--Kata and Uta, now 12 and 8--here, and WOW!!! We love it here. It is the best of Downtown and perfectly centered to allow one to feel connected, well, depending on how one feels about the magical New York City, as if one is living at the center of the universe!!! We love it...allows us to feel like we are living like resident-tourists here in the City we love!
