Peppertree Apartment Homes

I have lived in these apartments for a little over a year and they are really comfortable\cozy and in a convenient location, on the inside it was renovated with updated appliances which was really nice when I initially first moved in . This is the first time living on my own for me so it’s nice to have a friendly face as Ariana from the front office has always been very helpful and patient with any questions I’ve had!

Maintenance is great! They would come super fast when I would report an issue. Like within 10 minutes sometimes. Neighbors are friendly. Staff is friendly, helpful, and work with you. The loft set ups are cute. It has a cozy feel with the way the apartments are set up. The only reason I left was to move in with my boyfriend, otherwise I would have stayed longer than the 2.5 years I was there. The only downside is minimal closets/storage.

Could find much better options. Overpriced, many desk agents could care less about our problems living here, felt ripped off. We paid $60 on average a month to have our trash taken by maintenance. It was done for the first four or 5 months of living here, then the maintenance man "went on vacation". Once he came back we never touched our trash again, despite us reaching out to the help assistants and even him himself. Stairs were insanely loud. Walls were thin. No privacy. Was dropped with a list of stuff we had to do on the very last days of our lease, which was supposed to be done a month before hand. Safe to say we didn't pay it, because we hadn't had the financial freedom to pay $150 on the spot with no notice. Figured they could use the money for trash services I didn't receive. I

Lived at Peppertree apartments from 2017 - 2019. During this time, management changed 3 times. Not much changed. My rent would go up after every lease contract ended. In the span of 2 years rent went up by almost $300. I know the Permian Basin can be expensive because of the oil and gas industry but I don’t think peppertree has the quality or amenities to charge high in rent. I am a non smoker and always had a problem with my apartment smelling like smoke. I complaint a few times but nothing was done about it. Management also makes it very hard to move out without getting penalized financially. My gf would not feel safe if she had to stay by herself. Staff was nice. I do not blame them. Listen carefully to what I am going to say next. They have cheated me. My PeperStree apartment at 4630 Oakwood dr fell short of my expectations. It's like an old woman with rouge. The cheap smoke extractor that my kitchen has on barely removes the smoke, so the shelf and the walls are constantly filled with grease with each cooking. Not to mention the smoke that spreads in the apartment. The stove, with its useless thermostat, spoils the quality of the food. The shelf is very old with more than 10 layers of paint one on top of the other that has peeled off as well as the eposis resin on the plateau. The two bathtubs are painted with cheap paint so it has fallen off after a few months of use. the toilets are old and won't flush without the help of a water jug. The small laundry in the estab
