WORST RENTAL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Met with Joe to take a quick look at a house Sunday morning. Spent a total of about 5 minutes taking a quick feel for the place, get an idea of the size and location make sure that there was enough room for my family. Like any rental I had looked through in the past week and every rental I have looked through in my life it needed some work to get it rental ready but I (wrongly) assumed that it would all get taken care of. I am very disappointed in my experience with applying for a property backed by People's Real Estate firm; specifically with the horrible individual and owner Lisa Brannon. I was highly pro-active applying immediately withing the hour of the property posting on Aug 1; I was the first tenant to apply, first to send my proof of income, first to send the required tenant employment verification and rental history forms. As an out-of-state mover, they agreed to video call me for the viewing; the viewing was scheduled for 2p the next day and I was called at 2:09p. Viewing went great, immediately after the call concluded I followed up with the property office to pay the application fee which they only take in-person or via phone. All the prior negative reviews left below are true, this team does not show any professionalism at all, very short temper and think that threatening is the way to scare people, they even threaten to sue me if I leave a negative feedback here. This was a very bad and stressful experience for me and my family, I had never left negative feedback to any business before but I will stand up for myself this time and hope to help other rental property owners avoid the same experience like what I went through. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT. They pulled up because I need access to reset power by toggling the breaker at the electric meter. They don't have the key. I have had continuous issues with this property management team. So the property manager and his wife arrive to provoke to get me on camera being frustrated with them. They never tell me when to expect repairs to be fixed. They have sent 5 different contractors to fix the broken heaters over 3 months and all are still broken. I've included a picture of them here so you can see him instigating and her filming. Pretty much harassing. Please avoid.

Wouldn't want to rent ANY of the available properties they have after they scammed my in-laws for a year and a half. The rental was dirty when they moved in and still charged them ridiculous prices when they moved out . $35 for a lightbulb is overboard especially since that light socket hasn't worked the entire time they lived in the home. Then charging $50 to move the broken dryer they never fixed or repaired back up the stairs when my in-laws moved out! The base boards and carpets had black mold and nothing was ever done about it. Also anytime work needed to be done the woman who handled the situation would come and sit in their dining room and would fall asleep sometimes while the work was being done so that my mother-in-law would be stuck sitting there in total awkwardness.
