Penstock Quarter Apartments

Absolutely love living here at Penstock! Convenient to 95/64, restaurants here, Yellow Umbrella, gyms, walking paths, dog park, coffee shops ….library next door! Food trucks and events always fun to see! The staff is always nice and helpful! Yen is 💯the best at fixing anything! Always feel safe coming and going! Can’t think of a better place to live!

A Wonderful Place to Call Home — 6 Years and Counting! My husband and I moved to Penstock Quarter at Libbie Mid-Midtown in September 2019, and we have never regretted that decision. We are an older couple but wanted a mixed-age, active community rather than a senior facility. Penstock offers exactly what we were looking for. Our apartment is bright and spacious with plenty of natural light, and we love our beautiful view overlooking the lake and the Libbie Mill Library. If we could improve anything, it would be adding more closet space in the primary bedroom and additional pantry storage — but that’s a small trade-off compared to everything else we enjoy. Just be aware of their policy regarding application fees ($50) and application deposits ($300). I was approved for an application but ended up not going with an apartment here. The problem was they have a silly clause that if you don't notify them within 72 hours of an application being approved, you forfeit both the fee and the deposit. I am accustomed to losing an application *fee* if I change my mind on an apartment-- no big deal. But with a $300 forfeiture on the line, it would have been very professional/considerate of the leasing office to leave a voicemail or text saying "hey, you're going to lose the application deposit-- did you change your mind?" Absolutely a great place to live. The staff was amazing from the maintenance staff who responded so quickly to the office staff, Erin and Jenny who patiently assisted me with online setup for monthly payments to responding quickly with my questions or concerns. I would highly recommend this as a wonderful place to live as the community is amazing and pet friendly.

Morgan helped us with the entire leasing process. He is very thorough and professional. A true asset to Penstock Apartments.
