These people...ugh! I do not now, nor have I ever, taken out a house loan. In fact, I have been renting apartments since I've been old enough to. Saying that, these people just keep calling. I have told them 5 times that they have the wrong number. Last time they called, I asked for a supervisor. They put me on hold for 5 minutes then hung up on me. I called back and they did it again. Now, I can't get any one to pick up (ironic, isn't it). I'm at my wits end. This takes harassing to a whole new level!

The absolute worst company ever. Please, don’t trust this company, run! Find another mortgage company that knows what they are doing and can accomplish simple math!

Worst loan company out there. Everyone talks about how loan companies will help you but this company is the worst at answering your question and giving you option to help when having hardship issues. Stay far away!

Outstanding people skills … could not believe my experience. I’d had great past experiences with Penny Mac but not today. I’ve messaged Penny Mac, posted on LinkedIn just amazing how we have missed opportunities to wow customers, we would rather say - you’re not worth it. Here is what I sent in to Penny Mac Message Center after being on hold for 30min waiting to get a bit more help. We got Douglas. Douglas was extremely combative on the phone when I called to find out why my mortgage was MIA. We unknowingly missed a payment. PAID the last 4 yrs same date of the month & paid above the minimum to pay down the principal. My assumption was it was paid as I have for 4 yrs, we thought our bank sent the payment. I called to find out details - received with aggression so asked for a Supervisor- as

Got my bill after it was already due this month (post office error?) and then got an email reminder the day after the grace period ended. Charged a late fee after over 3 years of no late payments they won’t even wave the late fee once for a simple mistake. I know it’s always due the same time, but with countless bills and due dates, I really rely on those bills and reminders that are pretty standard with companies. Online system is horrible to navigate. Phone system is even worse. Not who my mortgage started with, and I would never choose nor recommend pennymac to anyone else.
