Absolutly excellent customer service from onset of my mortgage assumption. From the beginging working with Max Fernandez he was extremely patient and guided me thru all the steps I needed and then Sandra Parra who was so helpful. Response time was close to immediate. Would highly recomend Pennymac to anyone considering for their mortgage. Top notch for Accuracy and professionalism. Thank You to all who made this transition so simple and quick.

The worse customer service ever, they must be mistreated at home and need to take their frustration out on the customers-we are the ones who pay their salaries. Reported me after I chose to repair roof when it rained in my dining room instead of pay entire mortgage. A partial payment wasn’t good enough yet, they wonder why I choose to go with another mortgage company.

I hate this mortgage company. I feel betrayed Veterans United sold my mortgage to them. Lynnen (name may be misspelled) could offer me payment arrangement assistance after taken a partial payment. He couldn’t guarantee not reporting me to the credit bureau after taken my payment. For all that I could’ve kept my partial payment. I am trying at this very moment to discontinue this account with them. I hope they go out of business. Their customer service is horrible. I read other reviews from disabled veterans and they feel exactly the same.

If you’re a veteran let alone anyone with a disability do not trust this mortgage company. They do not follow ADA compliance and they have rude representatives and low customer service experience. I will be refinancing soon into another servicer. If you’re getting a VA home loan to all my veterans don’t accept PennyMac, you’ll regret it big time. They do not follow up within two business days like their website promise.

I never intentionally did business with this company, but NVR sold them my mortgage as the servicer after closing. I find the phone representatives rude, disrespectful, and have very limited knowledge about their jobs. They cannot independently think or answer questions other than to say “this is what the computer tells me”. Clearly they just want to collect payments from people and hope the incompetence of the people they hire forces you to use the website for assistance. They send a million ads though about refinancing or getting equity out of your home! 🙄
