Peninsula Grove Apartments

I lived here for over 4 years and have had my share of maintenance request (some repair, some not). One request in particular involved my hood vent, which have been shocking me every time I touched it, since day one. Despite requests, both online and in person, I continued to get shocked and my request was mysteriously removed as if it was fixed, and I again submit a new request. Recently one of your maintenance men ( Edwing ) entered my apartment to perform a unrelated maintenance issue. After he was done I started talking to him about how my hood vent shocks me for years when I accidentally touch it. He took the initiative to open it up and found a live wire touching the inside of the hood, he repaired it and Im no longer shocked. Something so simple that could have and should have been

Experience here at the Peninsula Grove Apartments has been rough. Came back from a deployment and the place that they put me in was infested with rats and they refused to switch units since it was at 90% capacity. Tried working with the Management but you could tell they didnt really care much and put in little effort to make things right or fix the problem . I would rate this place a lot lower but this place really blessed to have a technician like Edwing. Whenever there was a problem with the rats, or my heat going out when its below 40 degrees outside, man always showed up with a smile. Never had that experience with an apartment maintenance tech. actually caring about the living situation we live in. Worst living experience ever. DO NOT RENT. This apartment building is beyond unacceptable. They never pick up trash, so the property constantly looks filthy. Miss Glenda at the front desk is one of the rudest, most unprofessional people I’ve ever dealt with — she speaks to residents with zero respect. On top of that, the place is infested with roaches, and they never send anyone to fix the problem despite repeated complaints. I also put in a work order to have my stove fixed because everytime it’s preheated, it’s literally smoking and causing the smoke detector to go off which makes me can’t use my stove !!… Management clearly does not care about residents’ health or quality of life. horrible management services. had a gas leak upon move in for days that management ‘fixed’ but continued to leak until i had to call the gas company to actually fix it and they said the hose that i was told was replaced looked very old and cracked and never replaced. 6 month roof leak after being told it was fixed. maintenance orders are canceled by management- had to resubmit the same request 4 times before someone came out and still not fixed. they don’t tell you when they’re coming either- no time frames or communication. was told my service request was completed when no one arrived to my unit- had to resubmit twice before someone came out. they say they don’t want anything on the balconies but leave trash from cleaning out units on the lawn for weeks.

Edwing was a great maintenance and he didn’t have to come out during the holidays. He worked really hard and stayed until he made sure was working properly before he left. I really appreciate everything he did to get my stove working properly and I would recommend him to anyone. 🔥🔥🔥
