I have never regretted a decision as quickly as I regretted renting here. I’ve been here a little over 6 months and from the first day I moved in, it has been one issue after another. I recently had my wallet stolen from my car in the parking garage and despite several attempts to reach management via email, because there’s no manager or leasing agent at this office, there’s been no response. A major issue has been the lack of staff availability. The office hours are listed as 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mon-Fri, but most of the time there is no one present, and now there’s no one at all on Saturdays. Calls go unanswered, and emails are not returned. I had an amazing experience at Pearl at the Mix thanks to Raven. She provided some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced—truly exceptional. Raven assisted me with every question I had and did so with such professionalism, patience, and a consistently positive attitude. It was such a pleasure meeting her, and she made the entire process feel welcoming and stress-free. Because of her, I will definitely be leasing here this summer once I move to Houston. Honestly this place could be really great but the biggest problem is that two extremely loud and obnoxious clubs have opened up literally one block over from the building and they play super loud music 4-5 nights of the week. I’m not exaggerating you will not be able to sleep it is SO loud. The building must also just have crummy insulation because it does nothing to block out the sound. I’ve complained to management several times but they don’t really do anything about it. You’re somewhat powerless as a resident to tell a business to be considerate of the residential building right next door so I was hoping management would take the necessary steps to elevate this to corporate or a municipal level so some regulations could be implemented but I’ve given up on that. Ever since I moved in this place, it has been a problem after problem. This place have had three office managers within the last four months. Management is NEVER in office nor answers the phone or calls back the only communication is really through email. But let me tell you about the biggest problem. It is infested with roaches. I been here 3 months and I have been seeing roaches every night!!! This is the worst decision I ever made I tend to cry because I cant even have company without me going in the kitchen every night in seeing roaches crawl across the floor. It seems they like to come out at night this is the worst apartment I ever stayed in. One time I opened the front door to leave out I look down and its a roach crawling in the hallway.
