Parkwood Gardens

Lived here for about 5 years.. We lived there back in 2009. loved it. Parking was always an issue until they offer a second parking spot for $30! more a monthly. So central to everything around East County.

Complex reminds me of low income housing, the rents are not comparable for this type of complex. Management changes frequently. I believe it is difficult for them to find qualified people to manage the complex. Current manager if OK. I was told I was moving to a quiet place in the complex. I am across the El Cajon school district buses. I hear the buses "beep-beep-beep" starting at 6:30am and continues till 4:30pm. Also hear the buses on Friday evening.

My apartment has old appliances, particle board kitchen cabinets with layers of paint, bathtub has surface is peeling, and there is no on site visitor parking and no street parking available for half a mile.

I did call them and tell them on October 29, 2021 i will leave on December 1, 2021 our manager she was pregnant and she wasn’t here and and there is another manager on there place and she is coming to her office from 12 PM to 3 PM i have work at 11:00 am to 7:30 pm how i am see the manager on this time i have off only on Saturday and Sunday and we did signature on NOV 9, 2021 till December 9, 2021 I did give them the key on Friday on 26 at 7:38 pm and they told me that if you give us earlier we will cut some days from those days and i did give to them on 26 and manage calling me she told me that supervisor she wasn’t agree to cut some days for those payment ok but i did pay 9 days and they are working on my APT now ok if you take money for the 9 days give me the key back and she didn’t cha

Has been a very pleasant stay at Parkwood Gardens. Great management and reasonable rent prices. The location is central to most things in East County.
