Parkstone & Parkhurst Apartments

Lived here for 3 years and was sad to leave! Based in West Village, it is an amazing location 12-15 min from downtown, corktown, and midtown but has cute bars, bakeries, coffee shops, and boutiques within walking distance. Belle Isle is right across the street. The management is family owned and they take care of the tenants. Relatively quiet and family-oriented neighborhood. The apartment units are historic and well maintained.

Management was accessible and helpful. Quiet neighborhood nearby downtown Detroit.

I have lived in my fair share of apartments, and Parkhurst was by far the best. I had a clean, newly renovated, bug and pest free, gorgeous studio apartment. The staff was helpful above and beyond what I've ever seen before, and so kind (they gave me a teacher discount for my rent, hung my curtains for free, extended their hours to help me move out -- I could go on). I've lived almost a year at another unit and still miss living in the Parkhurst!

I have loved living here and would recommend it to anyone! The apartments are beautiful and have that old school charm, management is wonderful, friendly, and helpful, and the neighborhood is a cute and cozy place with new spots always opening up.

Just signed a lease. Large, vintage apartments, high ceilings. Details! Charm! A working fireplace on the 9th floor? Cool. Leafy neighborhood. Appears well-maintained and well-managed with good staff.
