Affordable for the 3.5 years we were there, never got a package stolen or had any issues with other apartment residents. Minus one star for an incident with unresponsive maintenance that needed me hinting at legal action before they took care of the issue. Minus another for some building maintenance issues: some of the hallways and out of the entry/exit doors could be rough looking. Plus one star since the office staff helped me out with a couple of issues they didn’t need to. It’s a good value for what you pay and the location is great, don’t expect perfection.

Pros: -Decent area to live in -Maintenance is on top of their work -Great secluded parking -Important notices are communicated properly Cons: -Seems like front desk workers are unfriendly at times -Inconvenient office hours (sometimes they will be vacant during designated office times) -Finding a parking spot can be a hassle, especially in the winter. -My biggest con is dealing with the workers excluding the maintenance guy. Overall: I personally think that this is a great location for QUIET individuals. It does not seem like the apartment tenants or workers like it when you have friends or family over. So, if you are an outgoing college student or young adult, I would NOT recommend this apartment. There was not a lot of issues during my stay in my unit, it was the interactions with the

I'm having problems and I feel the need to update a past review. While the perks (see below) are lovely. Lately there is so much that is frustrating. 1. Locking up my produce overnight so it begins to rot, instead of leaving it outside the office, calling, or being considerate in any way. 2. Constantly changing the office hours, often last minute, so you can't get packages or address concerns. 3. Funneling money into making a few areas (to draw in more tenants) to look nice, while doing no updates or maintenance to units. 4. Not fixing things if they are not broken 'enough'. I can't slide my screen door and I'm missing functional lights in my kitchen (but not all), so I am not a priority. There was a back door a couple of weeks ago that you couldn't use and the man in the office had nerve

My wife and I lived here for two years, just finished moving out. Out of the apartment complexes we've stayed at, this is one of the better ones. The building does have some annoyances/oddities (upside-down outlets, constantly changing office hours that aren't always accurate, missing weights in the exercise room), but overall we had a positive experience. Great location on the Oak Leaf trail and right across the street from Estabrook Park. We had a good relationship with the front office (esp. Patti) and maintenance team (Bill) and never experienced any serious inconveniences - no stolen mail or packages, no issues with neighbors, etc. We received our entire security deposit back, too, although we had to wait three weeks (the max time) for it.

I lived at Parkside for two years in an "updated unit". Here are some pros and cons from my experience. Pros: -Big kitchen with plenty of counter top space and all updated and functioning appliances. Range was not gas, and there was enough cabinet space for storage -The space itself was a good size -Location is good. Right off of 43, close to Whitefish Bay and Shorewood. Close to the mall, right across from the park, Bier garden, and oak leaf trail -My bathroom was nice and had a large counter top -Both bedrooms had large closets -Free parking in the large lot behind the building, with available underground parking -Secured mail room -We had no maintenance issues Cons: -Price was high for what you got. The unit wasn't bad, but it did cost more compared to similar units, and they upped th
