Parkside Apartments

I definitely would not recommend living here. My husband my toddler and I lived here for 2.5 years and besides the constant turn over of the office staff, we dealt with constant turn over and lack of maintenance. We had to have our washer and dryer replaced 3 times because of how they set it up, these apartments were not supposed to have washer dryer in unit. My son was constantly sick due to how filthy the vents are and I had asked multiple times for them to be cleaned and that never happened, my car was towed due to incompetence in the office and was told I’d get reimbursed the $500 it was to get my car out of the tow yard and then there was more turn over and since there was “no paper trail” there was, I never got reimbursed, my senior dog was brutally attacked 2 times by 4 different pi

Sure, rents cheap, but not cheap enough to make up for the roaches, rats running around the buildings, extremely loud and disrespectful neighbors, mandatory valet trash fee for a service that doesn't show up half the time, paid parking that's badly enforced (a car with flat tires sat in the parking lot with several warnings for over a month, my partner with a valid permit got a sticker on her window that we still haven't been able to fully remove) etc etc. Our mailbox was broken and we had to pick up everything from the post office for over a month. Would’ve toured, except… I drove here once for my scheduled appointment and no one was here, I went through the steps for a self guided tour, went back and found the office open. I had called a few times and we could’ve skipped the second trip if I was able to get ahold of someone… because online it would appear all the units have laundry in unit, only to be told that’s not the case. So, overall I wasted a couple hours looking to tour this place when in one phone call we could’ve skipped all the extra and a review.

Edit: Yessenia reached out from Parkside and made everything right. I was able to tour one of their units and she was super helpful. Really appreciate the way she showed up! Scheduled a time to tour an available unit, but no one showed up for the appointment. I left several messages and never received a call back.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. This is the epitome of slum lords. I moved here May 2021 and the property was marketed as being central to RTD (it is not, the nearest train station is about 1-2 miles down Pecos), it was also marketed as being remodeled and brand new. That is not the case. They came to “fix” my bathroom and left me with a job that I could’ve done a better job myself. I relayed my disappointment to the manager, and she completely ignored me and refused to repair it correctly. Upon move out, my entire under sink storage was sunken in due to a leak that they had never addressed. I did not receive any type of apology or anything. The front desk lady wasn’t even surprised that it had happened. My balcony has rusty nails EVERYWHERE and often times felt as if it would collapse. The RATS run ram
